Building on the BMT MICE technology, Jana developed and evaluated a novel layer-by-layer process for stent fabrication using polymer injection into structured negative molds under centrifugation. Her thesis identified critical factors—such as material concentration, process parameters, and environmental influences—that determine the quality of the stents, and laid a strong foundation for future process and design optimization.
