Anatomical and physiological models

We process clinical imaging data to produce experimental anatomical models combining 3D-printing and molding technologies, focusing on hydrogel-based materials with tissue-like mechanical properties.  We develop MATLAB-based computational models to investigate physiological transport processes in the cardio vascular system and in the lungs.
