Goal
We develop pulsatile mock circulatory systems to investigate the fluid dynamic effect of implants in compliant models with particular focus on thrombus-triggering factors. We use ultrasound-based vector velocimetry for flow assessment in non-transparent fluids such as blood or substitutes.
