Tissue and scaffold engineering

We work on biomaterials of synthetic and natural origin, generating microstructures able to direct cell behavior on models and implants. We focus on the mechano-biological effect of different surface topographies on endothelial cells as paramount factor affecting implant-tissue integration in cardio- and neurovascular applications.
